This residency enabled us to develop Episode 1: Into The Unknown, which will culminate as an interactive and fully immersive performance experience we will open to the public in 2023. On June 6, 2022 we began our residency at the Center For New Performance at CalArts, where we were provided complete access to their Modular Theater, a unique theater space with fully moveable floors, walls, lights and hoists. These systems offer incredible flexibility for the current phase of set and performance exploration, allowing us to test set-design and to welcome a small cohort of participants who can explore the immersive space and provide feedback for future iterations of this experience.
